Watercolor - Loosen Up! @ New Art Center

Watercolor can seem daunting, but this workshop is designed to help loosen your approach to the medium, feel more capable with the paints, and find out how rewarding it can be. Focus on working with water, color mixing, understanding paper, and using the strengths (and weaknesses) of the medium. Work with a “wet-on-wet” approach using different surfaces and methods.
2 Saturdays 2/6 & 2/13  Fee: $120.00

New Art Center Linoleum Block Printing Class

The New Art Center will host a master class by printmaker John Murray.  Relief printing is a technique in which the printing surface is carved away, leaving an image that appears raised on the surface. Learn how to plan a print, transfer to a block and how to cut safely. Class includes cutting, transferring and printing with color techniques.
