Floral Arranging Class

This is a class designed for novices.  Students bring home a beautiful medium sized fresh cut flower arrangement, great for brightening their day or for gift giving.  Classes will be in a relaxed, fun atmosphere with instruction.  No need for students to bring anything but enthusiasm.We provide fresh-cut flowers, clean recycled vases and tools of the trade. Artist Barbara Mulford has been preparing fresh flowers for a vintage breakfast restaurant for seeral years.  She brings her tried and true secrets for flower buying, cutting,  arranging and prolonged freshness.

MOS Presents Blizzards: Outwit the Elements

 A blizzard is coming! Engineer a tree house to withstand high winds and save skiers from a wild mountain avalanche. With two exciting activities, this hands-on workshop gives participants a chance to plan, build and test their designs against the forces of nature. Presented by the Museum of Science. For kids entering grades 1-3 with accompanying adult, and kids entering grades 4-6 with an adult encouraged.  Druker Auditorium

Family Outdoor Yoga

Some of your favorite library staff will challenge players with 4 rounds of questions from a variety of categories.  Stretch your brain and win great prizes!  Come alone or with friends. Teams can be up to 6 people, and we can match you with fellow devotees. Refreshments will be provided.

Music for Kids: Vanessa &The Jumping Monkeys
