In hopes of having some design choices for the look and feel of OurNewton.org at our next meeting, we would like members of this team to visit http://drupal.org/project/Themes and browse the themes located there. Often there are screen shots or demonstration websites for themes located there, and that will give you some idea about what the website will look like with the applied theme. We are only looking for 5.x Drupal themes, but please do not let that discourage you from looking and finding a theme you like.
Our hope is to have 3 or 4 themes that have been selected by you to look at and discuss at our next meeting.
Thanks everyone!

Thanks for giving me a place to start, Larry! I liked all of your choices except for Foliage. I also added in a couple more: Blue Square (I liked the set up, not necessarily the blue....perhaps it could be changed to another color). I also like the MyDrupalUniversal (less the rubik's cube). Maybe we should compile a list and base it on the format, and then the colors later.

I scrolled through all the screen shots and here are my four favorites, for what it's worth. My apologies if my reasoning is fairly simplistic - they're all in the green family, which I think works well for Newton being the Garden City. However, in looking at our beta version, it's in a 3 column format so I assume we want to keep this general layout. The ones I think work well are as follows: AD Lemon Twist (5.x but only a 2 col. format); Art4Green (3 col. format but 6.x); FireFlyStream (3 col. and 5.x - my personal favorite); and Foliage (6.x).
