Bring your infant and meet other new mothers!
Groups for first-time moms with babies up to 6 months
Each group meets with a professional facilitator and provides a wonderful opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, make new friends, and get some support. Discuss developmental issues, expectations of oneself as a new mom, changing relationships with family members, child care options, and much more.

Ronni introduces songs, finger plays, chants and movements using a variety of rhythm instruments and play materials, incorporating elements of traditional and contemporary children’s music. The class is followed by a 30-minute informal playtime with age-appropriate toys. Ronni facilitates the playtime activities and leads a closing circle time. Rashi School Curious Minds Preschool program

Preschoolers and their parents are invited to a Birthday Party for Trees on Monday, February 9, at 1:30 pm at the Rashi School, 15 Walnut Park, Newton (park in Jackson Road lot), sponsored by Rashi’s Curious Minds program. Children will learn about trees and nature in an interactive program led by Rashi kindergarten teachers. The youngsters will enjoy a puppet show and sing songs while they learn about the environment. A craft activity and healthy snack will be included. Admission is free, but preregistration is required. Leventhal-Sidman JCC Restore the Core class

Pregnancy doesn't have to ruin your fitness level. This 50-minute, mat-based blass focuses on form in order to stabilize the muscles on the core. We will work on tightening all the muyscles of the core, including yuor abs, hamstrings, glutes, thighs and pay special attention to the lower belly region that gets stretched during pregnancy. Class can be taken with our without baby (ages 3 weeks to preschool). 12-week class held Wednesdays, Sept 17 - Dec 17 from 9:15am - 10:15am. $180/member or $210/nonmember. Surf and Turf at the YMCA

Family Track Nights at the Y

Join us for evening track meets every Wednesday in July. Families can run, jump, and throw, and take part in friendly competition on the New Balance Track and Field at the YMCA. All ages and abilities are welcome. $2 per event.
