Comedy Night to Benefit Newton Food Pantry

Greater Boston comedians delight their audience at a Comedy Night to benefit the Newton Food Pantry, Friday, March 10 at 7:30 pm in Fellowship Hall of the Second Church in Newton.  Entrance is on the parking lot side of the building, adjacent to the turnpike. 

Comedian and Newton native Carolyn Paine (pictured) hosts the evening.   A stand-up comedian in her own right, Carolyn has toured as the stubborn ballerina with comedian Hannibal Buress. She has written for and performed in several web series and podcasts; she does website freelance comedy writing, and has been host for live game shows and events at Foxwoods Casino and Mohegan Sun.  In addition to classical ballet training in the United States and abroad, Carolyn earned a BA in Theater and Art History from the University of Hartford and studied, performed, and worked in writing collectives with the famed Second City in Chicago.   Joining her will be acclaimed comedians from Greater Boston, among them John Sucich, Andrew Mayer, and Caitlin Arcand.

Proceeds from the evening will enable the Newton Food Pantry to better serve people in the community who depend on them.  Ticket prices are $20.00 Adults and $5.00 Students (High School Age), including light refreshments.
