Frustrated with driving in the Boston area? Join us for a TRIPPS Panel Discussion! Imagine the freedom of being able to get where you want, when you want, within your budget—and all without the stress of driving, parking, and maintaining your own car. If you are considering reducing your dependence on driving, you are not alone. City dwellers of all ages and abilities are making the change and opting for a driving-free lifestyle. Luckily, seniors in our area have many choices when it comes to travel options. New skills & options can always be added to your transportation “toolbox,” even while you’re still driving – both as backups for the present and preparation for the future. Join us for a lively discussion on the perils of driving in Boston, ways you can prepare for "driving retirement," and the variety of transportation options available for travelers of all ages. Led by Kerri Ann Tester, TRIPPS Program Director, panelists include Kristen Dixon Keilty, Occupational Therapist, Driver Rehabilitation Specialist, Keys to Independence Program, Emerson Hospital; Debra Kerrigan, Senior Occupational Therapist, Newton-Wellesley Hospital Rehab Services; and Michele Ellicks, Community Outreach, MassDOT/Registry of Motor Vehicles. Register with the Front Desk at 617-796-1660. Free. Light dinner generously sponsored by The Village Bank
