8 Fridays: July 14th-September 1st, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
This seated class is designed to accommodate individu-als of various fitness levels and lities and can be adapted to meet the particular needs of any of the par-ticipants. The class begins with a thorough warm-up for both the joints and the muscles. The warm-up is followed by strength training and balance exercises for all the major muscle groups of the body using hand weights, resistance bands or tubing, or weights. The class concludes with gentle stretching exercises to increase flexibility and reduce muscle tension. Taught by instructor Pearl Pressman. $3 suggested donation.
