Connecting Medicine to the Community  Dr. Boaz Levy will speak about innovative perspectives on Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia, which depart from the traditional medical approach. He will discuss what we can do as individuals and as a community to maintain healthy cognitive functioning as we age. He will also discuss his research study which aims to integrate a computerized cognitive test into the annual physical exam in primary care offices. Dr. Levy is a clinical neuropsychologist, a professor at UMass Boston, and a lecturer at Harvard Medical School. He earned his doctorate from the University of Southern California and completed his postdoc at the McLean Hospital, where he specialized in geriatric neuropsychology.
