Trip to the Peabody Essex Museum” tour & independent exploration Current exhibits: XYZT: A Journey in 4 Dimensions; All the Flowers Are for Me; Lunar Attraction; MegaCity: India’s Culture of the Streets; Importing Splendor: Luxuries from China; Stickwork: Patrick Dougherty (outdoor exhibit) Raven’s Many Gifts: Native Art of the Northwest Coast; Double Happiness: Celebration in Chinese Art; “It’s Alive!” Classic Horror and Sci-Fi Art from the Kirk Hammett Collection.

This trip is fully handicapped accessible. Lunch: There is a café at the PEM. You may choose to take a walk through the town of Salem for lunch and check out the town’s “haunted happenings” but you must be back on the bus for a 3pm departure. Price $42. Includes transportation to and from Salem via luxury coach bus (including driver’s tip), entrance to museum, and guided highlights tour.

Registration is first-come, first-served by date of payment.

Deadline to register is October 11th or trip is subject to cancellation. Space is limited; register early.

 Departure: Newton Senior Center 10:00am;  Return to Newton Senior Center 4:00pm
