Mindfulness Meditation Group

The Mindfulness Meditation Group will meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month. Breathing and meditation practice helps cleanse the body mind complex enhancing the feeling of well-being, bringing clarity and calmness within. Participate in gentle yoga poses, breathing practices and guided meditation. Use a chair or sit on the floor. No previous experience required.

ELL Tutor-Training Workshop

In this four-session workshop participants will learn the principles of acquiring a new language, how adults learn, how cross-cultural considerations affect a person's ability to adapt to new ways of saying and doing things, and a variety of ELL teaching techniques that tutors can use with their learners.

When their country is invaded by the Nazis, Jan and Antonina are forced to report to the Reich's newly appointed chief zoologist, Lutz Heck. The Zabinskis covertly begin working with the Resistance and put into action plans to save the lives of hundreds from what has become the Warsaw Ghetto.
