Newton Theatre Company presents “Natural Shocks”

On Friday, April 20th, join NTC for a free staged reading of contemporary playwright Lauren Gunderson's Natural Shocks. FREE ADMISSION. NO TICKETS NECESSARY. We will be collecting donations at the door for Moms Demand Action. Cappella: Eve and Adam – a new take on a very old story

Rising MIT composer Elena Ruehr’s “Eve,” composed in 2014, takes its familiar text from Genesis, but rather than the traditional retelling, poses an honest question: was gaining knowledge of good and evil such a terrible thing? “In a sense,” the composer writes, “ is choosing light over darkness, sight over blindness.
