Program: Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan: Issues, Problems and Resources.
John MacGillivray, Administrative Director of Veteran’s Services, will moderate a panel of distinguished guests who will address the issues facing veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The program is designed to educate attendees about the issues and to give an overview of resources that are currently available for veterans and their families.

Meet YoElena Tkebuchava: Author of Poetic Easel
YoElena has been interested in fine art and history since before starting her formal education. She began writing poetry at age 8, and published her first book at age 12. In Poetic Easel, YoElena Tkebuchava shares the beautiful world of fine art through the work of forty artists.

Harry Lohr, Chair of the Newton History Museum Burying Grounds Committee, will present a closer look at Newton's three old burying grounds: the East Parish Burying Ground (1660), the West Parish Burying Ground (1781), and South Burying Ground (1802).
