B.A.B.Y. - Bring Along Baby Yoga with Kelly Weaver at the Newton Cultural Center

12 Fridays • 11:00am - Noon • April 9 - June 25
         
Experience the many benefits of yoga for adults, including:

    * strengthening the body

Help baby experience similar benefits, such as:

    * strengthening growing muscles
    * assisting digestion
    * improving sleeping patterns
    * promoting calm

This program is designed for adults of all ages (parents, grandparents, caregivers) to practice yoga and bring prewalking baby (from 6 weeks of age) along too. It will be accessible to participants at all levels, offering several variations of each pose.

Kelly Weaver is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) who has been sharing her passion for yoga through teaching for many years with a supportive and affirming style. Kelly also holds a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling. In addition to teaching yoga, Kelly works as a Resource and Referral Counselor for Project INTERFACE at WarmLines/The Freedman Center at MSPP.

Music & Movement Classes for Children 3 months to 3.5 years

WarmLines offers an exciting multi-age program designed to enhance musical and social experiences for children and their adult partners. Popular music educator, Ronni Olitsky, begins with a structured 45-minute music class. Ronni introduces songs, finger plays, chants and movements using a variety of rhythm instruments and play materials, incorporating elements of both traditional and contemporary children’s music. Class is followed by a 30-minute informal playtime with age-appropriate toys. Ronni facilitates the playtime activities and leads a closing circle time.

Wednesdays (through June) 10:45 am–12:00 pm
Thursdays (through June) 10:45 am–12:00 pm
NEW! Saturdays (3/27, 4/10, 5/8, 6/5) 9:30–11:00 am

WarmLines Policies: Each 75-minute class is limited to 13 adult/children partners and
must have a minimum enrollment to run. Younger siblings under 3 mos are free. Limited
number of sibling spaces (at 50% discount) available; call the office for details.
FULL PAYMENT RESERVES A SPACE. NO REFUNDS. CREDIT by mid-session (minus $40
processing fee) if space can be filled from wait list. In order to maintain integrity
of small classes, make-ups are not possible. Any class cancelled by WarmLines will be
rescheduled.
