Spring into tennis! We know you will "Love" it. The Newton Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting registrations for the Spring 2010 Tennis program. Clinics are available for kids and adults of all ages and levels. Classes are offered both a.m. and p.m., weekdays and/or weekends. Family Movie Day and Night at the West Newton Cinema
Enjoy a movie, popcorn and drink all for just $6.00 per person. Tickets will be sold at the West Newton Cinema on the day of the event. Dates and ticket times to be announced in February.

Thundercat Sports Clinic for Ages 5 – 7 & 7 - 12
For the sports enthusiast. Play a variety of games including basketball, floor hockey, soccer, and more – all in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Located at Pelligrini Park. Be sure to bring a lunch and snack each day. Single day option is available for $45.00 per day. Registration is available online at

Puddle Stompers Program for Ages 3 – 6
Winter is a magical time to explore nature! Come see how animals and plants are surviving the cold. Look for animal tracks and investigate other signs of winter activity. Discover who is taking a rest during the cold months and who is still out and about. Located at Nahanton Park Nature Center. 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. $47.00 per day. 10% sibling discount.
