The Newton Community Farm Stand on Winchester Street opens for the season this Saturday, June 13th, from 9-1.

After a long spring of seeding, planting, irrigating, and weeding, we are so excited to be harvesting vegetables to share with you all!

This week we’ll have crazy amounts of greens from spinach and arugula to lettuce, chard, and kale. We’ll also have a very limited supply of sugar snap peas harvested by our very own Executive Director, Laila Bravo, and freshly harvested rhubarb. You can complete your salad with Hakurei Japanese salad turnips, radishes, and kohlrabi, and fresh herbs. We will also be selling delicious eggs from Codman Community Farms, and we may even have hot pepper plants for gardeners who still have a space to fill.

Regular hours of Thursdays and Fridays 2-6 and Saturdays 9-1 all the way through Thanksgiving!
