Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away and it is a good time to think about how thankful and fortunate most of us are. Welcome Home is a source of hope for families struggling financially.
This year we have served more than 10,000 people. Welcome Home has grown through our many partnerships which allow us to serve more veterans, more immigrants and more neighbors using local food pantries. We also serve clients in our space where we continue to meet their needs with kindness and dignity. We help families with basic household necessities such as sheets and towels, pots and pans, as well as decorative items that help transform housing into a home. Unlike many other organizations, we honor every request made without requiring fees or forms. With your generosity, our clients will continue to “shop” at Welcome Home for their most essential home goods.
The gap between those of us who have what we need, and those who do not, is widening. As the cost of housing, childcare and gasoline continues to rise, many of our clients face daily hardship. They are often forced to choose between paying their monthly bills, getting medical care, or feeding their children. We ask that you consider making a gift to Welcome Home so that we can continue our work.
