What Are Plaza Tuesdays?

Think of Plaza Tuesdays as a refreshing pause in your busy day.

Beginning tonight, Tuesday, May 26—and continuing for the next five Tuesdays—enjoy an hour of free entertainment on the Newton Centre Plaza from 5:30 to 6:30.

We’ll be kicking off Plaza Tuesdays today at 5:30 with fantastic ukulele jamming from the City Hall Strummers.

The full Plaza Tuesdays lineup, featuring great local talent, includes:

June 16: All Newton Music School Faculty Jazz Trio
June 23: Zumba with City Councilor Martha Bixby
June 30: Newtonville Books: World Cup Comes to the (Park)ing Lot

And while you’re in Newton Centre, do some shopping, grab take-out, or have a sit-down dinner at one of the many restaurants. There’s so much to do.

See you on the Plaza!
