This drive, held in coordination with Newton Public School social workers and others, helps ensure that all kids can start the school year off with essential school supplies.
Last year, we were able to provide backpacks and other supplies to more than 150 students. This year – with your help – we hope to do even more.
We are accepting donations until August 15:
Donations requested:
- Backpacks (priority: middle and high-school backpacks) and lunchboxes
- Water bottles
- Graphing calculators (preferably TI84-CE)
- $25 Amazon, Visa, or Mastercard gift cards for school supplies and clothing
Purchase items from our Amazon wishlist and have them delivered directly to us: https://www.amazon.com/hz/
We are also grateful for cash donations so we can purchase most-needed items. Thank you for donating at https://www.newtonneighbors.
Special thanks to our wonderful partners The Village Bank, Auburndale Community Library, The Street Chestnut Hill, and Fulfilled Goods for partnering with us on this important initiative.
