Looking for ways to engage with the Farm? Want to find fun and meaningful volunteering over the summer? We have two programs that may interest you.
Our Weed Crew gathers every Thursday from 9 to 11 to help the Farm crew stay ahead of the weeds. Led by members of our NCF Board, the weed crew is both meditative and social—perfect for those who love creating order out of chaos. We ask people to sign up ahead of time so we know how many people to expect.
Don’t have time during the week? Join us from 10 to 12 on Saturday mornings. Our Saturday morning volunteers help with tasks such as mulching, transplanting, harvesting or, you guessed it, weeding! Again, we ask you to sign up ahead of time so that we can be prepared.
Both our Weed Crew and Saturday morning volunteer opportunities are open to anyone 12 years and older, but youth aged 12 to 14 must be accompanied by a volunteering adult.
Please note that registration for our volunteer programs closes 24 hours in advance.
Information on all our volunteer opportunities can be found on our Individual Volunteering page.
