The 3rd annual summertime lunch pop-ups at West Newton’s Allen Center kick off Thursday, July 24th with renown celebrity chef Thiago Silva of SALT Patisserie catering lunch. Every Thursday through mid-August a different Newton restaurant pops up on the tented patio along with a rotating showcase of Newton’s small businesses. It’s the perfect spot for families, friends, and co-workers to enjoy great food, shop, connect, listen to music, and just kick back and have fun. The pop-ups run from 11:30 AM-2 PM. Meals are pre-ordered on-line, and in case of rain the party moves indoors. We can’t think of a better way to spend a summer afternoon in Newton.
The Allen Center is located at 35 Webster Street.  Please park in the lot at Webster & Cherry Streets.
